It's not sexy it's degrading

If I see one more thing about "sexy nurses" I'm seriously going to puke on someone.
As a nursing student, I find it disgusting that, after all of the hard work I am putting into the intense program to one day be able to HELP PEOPLE, this is the image I'm going to be stamped with.
Anyone who honestly thinks this is true, needs to step, take another look at everything and get some damn maturity!
Any nurse that furthers this image is worse. We've come so far as a respected profession and you're just going to shove us right back into the gutter? If you wanna give yourself that reputation, fine, but don't give it to the rest of us too.

To become a nurse is difficult. The work as a nurse is hard. Who do you think really keeps people alive in the hospital? The doctor that sees you for maybe ten minutes a day? I don't think so.
We deserve respect.
